Rolf Pettersson (1940 - present) is a Swedish artist known for a versatile body of work including painting, ceramics, and graphic art. His painting style is striking–graphite drawings of intimate, everyday scenes (eating breakfast, having drinks with friends, going for a walk) partially filled in with flat washes of color. A textile-like color palette detail often borders the lower third of the painting.
