Jan Langlet (1918 - 1976) was a prominent Swedish painter and illustrator celebrated for his distinctive figurative works, vibrant still lifes, and evocative landscapes. Born into an artistic family in Gothenburg, he was the son of the well-known artist Alexander Langlet. Throughout his career, Langlet developed a signature style characterized by structured compositions, balanced tones, and a expressive use of brushwork. Today, his contributions to mid-century Swedish modernism are preserved in major cultural collections, including the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
