Eric Elfven (1921 - 2008) was a Swedish Modernist artist working in painting and sculpture. He began painting in 1944 while training at Konstfack art school. His works are known for their vibrant use of color, layered pattern details, and thick impasto, depicting the influences of Matisse, Picasso, and Cezanne.
